We read everything and reply as quickly as we can.
Email [email protected]
Reports of harassment, unsafe behaviour or objectionable content are reviewed within 24 hours. If you are reporting something urgent, please say so in the subject line.
Reporting something in the app
You do not need to email us to report a problem — it is faster in the app:
- A listing — open it and tap Report at the bottom
- A member — open their profile and tap Report
- A conversation — tap ••• in the top right and choose Report
- Blocking someone — same ••• menu, or their profile. Blocking stops them messaging you and can be undone from the same place.
Common questions
Does Trovee cost anything?
Trovee is free to use, and the free version does not expire. Two optional plans add more: Trovee Plus ($4.99 a month) unlocks the route planner, the Free items only filter, unlimited listings, ten photos per item and visible price cuts; Trovee Pro ($6.99 a month or $24.99 a year) adds a monthly Featured boost and the Pro badge. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled in your Apple ID settings; we cannot cancel one for you. On your iPhone: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Trovee → Cancel. If you cancel before the 14-day trial ends you will not be charged, and when a plan ends your account simply returns to the free version.
How do I delete my account?
In Trovee: Settings → Account → Delete my account. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm. It is immediate and permanent, and removes your profile, listings, photos, messages, saves and reviews.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Do that separately in your Apple ID settings.
Why can't I post this word?
Trovee screens public listings for language that does not belong in a community marketplace. The message will tell you which word tripped it. If you think it was wrong — some ordinary words genuinely catch — email us and we will fix the list.
The map is empty
Trovee needs location permission to show sales near you. If you declined it, turn it on in iPhone Settings → Trovee → Location. You can also tap the search field and enter a city instead.
Is my address public?
If you post a garage, yard, estate or moving sale, yes — buyers need it to find you, and it is public while the sale is listed. Marketplace item listings are different: they show an approximate area only, never a street address.
Safety
Trovee brings people together offline, and we are not present at those meetings. Meet in daylight, in a public place where you can, bring someone with you, tell somebody where you are going, and never send money before seeing an item in person. Full guidance is in the app under Settings → Safety tips.
